Write the arithmetic progression when first term a and common difference d are as follows:$a = -1.5, d = -0.5$
Given:
$a = -1.5, d = -0.5$
To do:
We have to write the arithmetic progression formed by the given first term and common difference.
Solution:
First term $a_1=a=-1.5$
Second term $a_2=a_1+d=-1.5+(-0.5)=-1.5-0.5=-2$
Third term $a_3=a_2+d=-2+(-0.5)=-2-0.5=-2.5$
Fourth term $a_4=a_3+d=-2.5+(-0.5)=-2.5-0.5=-3$
Therefore, the arithmetic progression so formed is $-1.5, -2, -2.5, -3, .......$.
