Differences between WBC and RBC are as follows:

RBCWBC
Red blood cells (RBCs) are also known as erythrocytes.
White blood cells (WBCs) are also known as leukocytes.
RBCs contain haemoglobin that gives blood its characteristics red colour.WBCs does not contain haemoglobin and thus are colourless or white in colour.
RBCs are the component of blood that allows the transportation of oxygen and removal of carbon dioxide from the body.WBCs are the component of blood and immune system that helps the body to fight against infectious disease and entry of foreign materials inside the body.
RBCs are produced in the bone marrow.
WBCs are mostly produced in bone marrow but also produced in lymph nodes, spleen, etc.
The nucleus is absent in RBCs.The nucleus is present in WBCs that are bilobed, round or irregular shaped.
