Write down a pair of integers whose:
a. Sum is $-13$.
b. Difference is $-12$.
c. Sum is 0
d. Difference is 10
e. Sum is 23 with one number being negative.

Given :

The statements of math operations are given.

To do :

We have to write a pair of integers whose:

a. Sum is $-13$.
b. Difference is $-12$.
c. Sum is 0
d. Difference is 10
e. Sum is 23 with one number being negative.

Solution :

a) Sum is $-13$.

$(-5)+(-8) = -(5+8) = -13$.

Therefore, a pair of integers whose sum is $-13$ is $-5$ and $-8$.

b) Difference is $-12$

$6-18 = -(18-6) = -12$

Therefore, a pair of integers whose sum is $-12$ is 6 and 18.

c) Sum is 0.

$(-5)+(5) = 5-5 = 0$.

Therefore, a pair of integers whose sum is 0 is $-5$ and 5.

d) Difference is 10

$15-5 = 10$

Therefore, a pair of integers whose sum is 10 is 5 and 15.

e) Sum is 23 with one number being negative.

$-1+24 = 24-1 = 23$

Therefore, a pair of integers whose sum is 23 with one number being negative is $-1$ and 24.
