Write down a formula for the magnification produced by a concave mirror.(a) in terms of height of object and height of image.(b) in terms of object distance and image distance

The formula for the magnification $(m)$ produced by a concave mirror,

(a) In terms of the height of an object $(h_{1})$ and the height of an image $(h_{2})$ is as follows:

$Magnification,\ m=\frac{height\ of\ image}{height\ of\ object}=\frac{{h}_{2}}{{h}_{1}}$

(b) In terms of the object distance $(u)$ and the image distance $(v)$ is as follows:

$Magnification,\ m=-\frac{image\ distance}{object\ distance}=-\frac{v}{u}$
