- Aerobic respiration
- Anaerobic respiration
Aerobic respiration: The respiration takes place in the presence of oxygen and its products are carbon dioxide, energy, and water.
Anaerobic respiration: The respiration takes place in the absence of oxygen and the product formed are lactic acid or ethanol and energy.
