The parts of Hind-brain and their function are given below:

Parts of hind-brain	Function
pons	It is a relay centre. It is also the pneumotaxic area of the respiratory centre.
cerebellum	It maintains equilibrium and also co-ordinates muscular activities.
medulla oblongata	It regulates several basic functions of the autonomic nervous system, including respiration, cardiac function, vasodilation, and reflexes like vomiting, coughing, sneezing, and swallowing.
