Write a pair of negative integers whose difference is 7.
Given: Difference of two negative integers is 7.
To find: Here we have to find a pair of negative integers whose difference is 7.
Solution:
Let one negative integer be = a
Let second negative integer be = b
So, according to the problem:
a $-$ b = 7
So, in the above equation we can put value of either a or b to get the corresponding value other integer:
Example:
Let one integer (a) be = $-$1
So,
$-$1 $-$ b = 7
$-$b = 7 $+$ 1
$-$b = 8
b = $-$8
Therefore, $-$1 and $-$8 is a pair negative integers whose difference is 7.
We can get as many pairs as we want by just changing the values of a and b.
