Why Vitamin B1 is known as Vitamin B?

There is total of 13 vitamins that our body needs, eight of which make up the B-group (or B-complex) vitamins and all are Water-Soluble.

1.Vitamin B1, or (Thiamin)

2.Vitamin B2, or (Riboflavin)

3.Vitamin B3, or (Niacin)

4.Vitamin B5, or (Pantothenic Acid)

5.Vitamin B6, or (Pyridoxine)

6.Vitamin B7, or (Biotin)

7.Vitamin B9, or (Folic Acid)

8.Vitamin B12, or (Cyanocobalamin)

All the B-complex vitamin is simply referred as Vitamin B.
