Why the smell of rotten eggs come from the sulphide ore?
We get the smell of rotten eggs from sulphide ore because it contains hydrogen sulphide in it. Hydrogen sulfide gas (H2S) can give water a “rotten egg” taste or odour. It is also produced by certain "sulfur bacteria".
