Why sun does not twinkle like other stars ?
Stars are far away from earth, while the sun is nearer in comparison. Stars appear to be point sized while the sun appears like a big circle.
Since stars appear point sized, their light can easily be disturbed by the atmosphere or any other obstacles. These disturbances cause the twinkling effect in stars.
This is not possible with the sun since it is bright and big.
