Why should curd and other sour food stuffs (like lemon, juice, etc.) not be kept in metal containers (such as copper and brass vessels) ?
Curds and other sour foods stuff (like lemon, juice, etc.) are acidic in nature. As acids react with metals to produce hydrogen gas, it spoils the food and forms some toxic metal compounds which poison the food.
