Why is any number raised to the power 0 always 1?

Given :

Any number raised to the power zero

To do :

We have to explain, Why is any number raised to the power 0 always 1

Solution :

Any number to the zero power is just the product of no numbers at all, which is the multiplicative identity, 1.

Alternately,

We know that $\frac{a}{a} =1$.

$\frac{a^{m}}{a^{n}} =a^{m-n}$

a1=a.

Therefore,

$\frac{a}{a} =\frac{a^{1}}{a^{1}} =a^{1-1} =a^{0} =1.$
