Why does time seem to flow only in one direction?Â
It can be explained with the help of a concept called entropy. Entropy is a measure of randomness or disorder. The entropy of the universe always increases. So disorder in the universe keeps on increasing. The direction of time is decided by the entropy. Time changes in the direction of increasing entropy. All chemical reactions in our body occur in the direction of increasing entropy. So we always feel that time is moving forward.
