Why do you yawn?


The main purpose of the yawning is to inhale more oxygen and exhale plenty carbon dioxide out of the body.

Yawning comes when the organism is bored or tired. During tiredness, the body doesn't breathe effectively thus low oxygen level creates in the body. Yawning helps to bring more oxygen into the body and eliminate carbon dioxide from blood.
