Why do we wear Spectacles?
There are many different reasons for wearing spectacles, or glasses. Some of the reasons are:-
1. Eye defects correction- Defects in eyes such as Myopia(nearsighted), Hypermetropia(farsighted), Presbyopia, and Astigmatism. 2. Eye Protection- Spectacles protect our vision from digital screens and also keep dirt and dust from getting into our eyes. Furthermore, glasses also protect our eyes from harmful UV rays. 3. Convenience- It is convenient compared to contact lenses because it is easy to apply and remove, does not require extra cleaning and does not always need to be replaced like a contact lens. 4. Fashion Statement- Nowadays, it’s common for people to use non-prescription eyewear, also known as fake glasses, used as a fashion statement, and for new a new trendy look.
