Why do we need to wear different types of clothes?

We wear clothes:

(i) to protect our skin and body from environment factors and biotic factors like insects, germs,

(ii) to adorn or decorate ourself,

(iii) to classify ourselves based on race, religion, culture, modesty, and status.
