Why do we feel hot when we wear winter clothes?

Woolen clothes are the best to wear in winter. The structure of the wool fiber is that wool fiber traps a large amount of air inside it. Since air is a bad conductor of heat it won't let body heat flow out, bringing warmth and solace to the body. Therefore we wear woolen clothes in winter.
