Why do our body irritates if it comes into contact with Jellyfish ?


The tentacles of a Jellyfish contain specialised cells called cnidocytes.

The cnidocytes has a structure that injects venom into the flesh of an organism that comes in contact. This sting of Jellyfish causes irritation to the skin, pain, and burning. This can last for several hours and may cause death.
