Why sorting of materials is important?

Sorting of objects into groups with each group having its own characteristic properties is called Classification Of Objects.

Sorting of objects is important because:-

1. Sorting of objects make it easier to locate and identify with them.

2.We can get an idea of the properties of other members of the group by just identifying one member of the group.
