Why are overcrowded and poorly ventilated areas, major factors in the spread of air-borne diseases?
In overcrowded and poorly ventilated areas, the chances of spreading airborne diseases are more as the person suffering from any disease easily spreads the infections germs/droplets/particles into the air through breathing and sneezing. This can easily be inhaled by a healthy person.
In the poor-ventilated houses, these infectious droplets circulate in a closed area and thus, more people can get infected with the airborne disease.
[Extra information:
Common examples of airborne diseases are flu, whooping cough, common cold, chickenpox]
