Which has higher refraction index : water of glass?

Glass has a higher refraction index than water. 

Explanation

The refraction index of glass is higher than that of water because due to the high density of glass, the speed of light decreases. Whereas, as compared to that of glass water has a low density and due to this, the speed of light increases. 

The refractive index of water is 1.3 and the refractive index of glass is 1.5.
