Where does the formation of Hemoglobin occurs?

RBCs contain the iron-containing protein in the blood, known as hemoglobin that permits the transportation of oxygen and removing of carbon dioxide from our body. Besides, it gives blood its characteristic red color. 

Hemoglobin formation occurs in the bone marrow that becomes red blood cells.
