Where does Cotton come from?
Cotton is a natural plant fibre. It is obtained from the plants by the following Process-
1. The cotton is handpicked from the plant Gossipyium plant in the form of cotton balls.
2. By the process of Ginning, the seeds and cotton fibres are separated from Cotton balls.
3. These cotton balls are then made into threads and converted into yarn by the process of Spinning.
4. From these yarns, the cotton fabric is made.
