Where are apical and lateral meristem present?
Lateral meristem is located on the lateral side of stems and roots.
The cork cambium and vascular cambium are two types of Lateral meristem.
Apical meristem is found in the plant’s root tips, shoot tips as well as at tips of new leaves.
Apical meristem is a region of growth which appears as a very dense cluster of undifferentiated cells.
