What separates the right and left chamber of the heart?


A wall of muscle called the septum separates the right and left chamber of the heart.

There are two septums in the heart-

1. The atrial septum -  separates the left and the right atria.

2. The ventricular septum - separates the left ventricles from the right ventricles.
