What is translational motion? Explain its types.

Translational Motion: It is a type of motion in which all parts of the body move the same distance in a given time.

It is divided into two types:

1. Rectilinear Motion: A motion is said to be rectilinear when an object in translatory motion moves along a straight line or path.

For example, A bus moving along a straight path, and the train moving in a straight track.

2. Curvilinear Motion: A motion is said to be curvilinear when an object in translatory motion moves along a curved path.

For example, A ball thrown up in the air at a certain angle, and a bike taking a turn.
