What is the SI unit of work?

Work is defined as a measure of energy transfer that occurs when an object is moved over a distance by an external force at least part of which is applied in the direction of the displacement.

Work is the process of energy transfer to the motion of an object via application of a force, often represented as the product of force and displacement. A force is said to do positive work if the force has a component in the direction of the displacement of the point of application

Joule (J) is the SI unit of work. A joule is defined as the work used by a force of one newton through a displacement of a metre.
