What is the relation between kinetic energy and momentum of a moving object?

If an object of mass $m$ is moving with the velocity $v$ then

Kinetic energy $K=\frac{1}{2}mv^2$   .....$(i)$

And momentum $P=mv$, put this in $(i)$

$K=\frac{1}{2}(mv)v$

Or $K=\frac{1}{2}Pv$
