What is the ratio between 50 seconds and 10 minutes?
Given:
50 seconds to 10 minutes.
To do:
We have to find the ratio between 50 seconds to 10 minutes.
Solution:
We know that,
1 minute $=$ 60 seconds
This implies,
10 minutes $=10\times60$ seconds
$=600$ seconds
Therefore,
50 seconds $:$ 10 minutes $=50:600$
$=50\times1:50\times12$
$=1:12$
The ratio between 50 seconds to 10 minutes is $1:12$.
