What is the process of anaerobic respiration?


Anaerobic Respiration (Respiration without oxygen)- It is the process of cellular respiration, that occurs when oxygen is not present and transfers large amounts of energy quickly from glucose to cells.

In simple terms, it is the process of creating energy without the presence of oxygen. 

For example- lactic acid fermentation, alcohol fermentation, and in the decomposition of organic matter.
