What is the meaning of Separation?

Cotton fibre is obtained from the fruit of a cotton plant known as cotton bolls. Cotton plants are usually grown in places having black soil and a warm climate. After maturing, the bolls burst open and the seeds covered with cotton fibres can be seen. From these bolls, cotton is usually picked by hand. Fibres are then separated from the seeds by the process of ginning.

India has been a major producer of cotton and its fabric. India exports cotton fabrics and items to many other countries. It helps us in various ways.

By exporting cotton to different countries, we gain financially. This money is used for the development of the country and also used as income for many families. The money keeps circulating and it becomes one of the causes for the upliftment of the country.

The currency of export helps in increasing the forest reserves and thereby leads to a reduction in the balance of payments. Hence, it stimulates foreign commerce, and raises foreign exchange value. It even attempts to balance the money that leaves the economy due to imports by bringing money into the nation. It boosts the nation's gross domestic product (GDP) and aids in opening up to foreign markets.
