What is the meaning of relative motion in easy words ?

Suppose you are travelling in a car. From the window you see another person going on a motor bike and overtaking you. Now from the car you will feel that the person on bike is moving slowly. But for the person on ground, the other person appears to move much faster.

This is due to relative motion. In this cases the person is moving and you are also moving. So you will feel that person is moving with lesser speed. If you both start moving with same speed, you will feel that the other person is at rest.
