What is the meaning of Life Process?

Life Process is the process going on in a living organism during its life. Every organism is different from other organisms which are defined by its life processes. The life cycle of plants, their structure, and body functions are all life processes.

An organism undergoes various life processes like nutrition, respiration, digestion, transportation, excretion, circulation of blood, and reproduction. It also includes the life processes of unicellular and multicellular organisms.
