What is the difference between thunderstorms and cyclones?


Cyclone :

A tropical cyclone is a rapidly rotating storm. Cyclones are caused by low-pressure areas. When a low-pressure area is formed, a large air mass from surroundings, come towards the center of low atmospheric pressure. This creates inward spiraling winds that rotate about the zone of low pressure. 

Thunderstorm:

A thunderstorm is a storm with lightning and thunder. It may also cause rain
