What is the difference between rotational motion and circular motion ?
Circular motion
Circular motion is nothing but the motion of an object in a circular path. For example, the revolution of planet earth around the sun in its orbit is a circular motion.
Rotational motion
It is the rotation of an object around its own axis. For example, the rotation of the earth on its own axis, the rotation of a spinning top, etc.
