What is the difference between antibiotics and antibodies?


Antibiotics are antibacterials, used to destroy or slow down the growth of bacteria (thus bacterial infection). It can be consumed either through mouth (orally), or can be applied as a cream or lotion (topically), or through an injection (intravenously).

While antibodies are the proteins produced by white blood cells to defend the body against both infectious disease and foreign materials.
