What is the cause of Global Warming?

The earth’s temperature is kept constant by the balance of heat loss and the heat gained from the sun. The atmosphere naturally constitutes greenhouse gases. The heat that is being trapped by this process increases with the increase in the concentration of greenhouse gases in the air.

Several human activities such as the burning of fossil fuels, deforestation, and industrialization have dramatically increased the levels of greenhouse gases leading to an increase in trapping higher amounts of heat. This results in the rise in the average global temperature of the planet which is known as global warming.
