What is the range of wavelengths of the visible light?


Light is an electromagnetic wave. Every electromagnetic wave has a characteristic wavelength.

All wavelengths of light are not visible to humans. Our eyes can detect only a small range of wavelengths. This range of wavelengths is called visible light. 

Visible light has a wavelength range of 400nm to 700nm.
