What is spindle fibre? Explain briefly.


Spindle fibers are the polymeric chain of tubulin protein, known as microtubule, performs the function of providing attachment and framework to the chromosomes, which are organized and alligned in the plane during the mitosis process. 

Spindle fibers are the characteristics feature of animal cell.

These fibers plays a very important function in segregation and movement of chromosomes during the process of nuclear division.
