Polyethylene terephthalate commonly abbreviated PET is the most common resin of the polyester family and is used in fibres for clothing, containers for liquids and foods, thermoforming for manufacturing, and in combination with glass fibre for engineering resins.

1. It can be made into Fibre or Plastic.

2. PET as plastic is very lightweight.

3. It is naturally colourless with high transparency.

4. It is strong and impact resistant.

5. It is used for making bottles, jars and utensils.

6. It is also used for making thin films and many other products.
