What is meant by the congruence of the triangle and its properties?

Congruence of the triangles :

Two triangles are congruent if,

  • Three sides of triangles are equal.
  • Three angles of triangles are equal.

Properties :

I) SSS Congruent:

If the three sides of a triangle are equal to the three sides of another triangle, they are congruent.

II) SAS Congruent:

If two sides of triangles and the angle between the two sides of the triangle are equal to the corresponding sides and angle of another triangle, they are congruent.

III) ASA Congruent:

If two angles of triangles and the side between the two angles of the triangle are equal to the corresponding side and angles of another triangle, they are congruent.

IV) AAS Congruent:

If two angles of triangles and the side adjacent to exactly one of the two angles of the triangle are equal to the corresponding side and angles of another triangle, they are congruent.
