What is mean by synthetic fibre?


Synthetic fibers are made from man-made synthesized polymers. The synthesized polymers are extracted from raw materials based on petroleum or petrochemicals. When synthesized fibers are polymerized into a chemical that ties together two adjacent atoms of carbon and form synthesized polymer.

Nylon and rayon are an example of synthetic fiber.

 
Synthetic fibers are known for their attractive appearances and similar form to silk. They are smooth, lightweight, and wrinkle-resistant fibers.
