What is mean by n ecological pyramid?


An ecological pyramid is a graphical (pyramidal) representation designed to show the relationship between different organisms, biomass, or bio productivity at each trophic level in a given ecosystem.

Each of the bars that make up the pyramid represents a different trophic level and their order according to their types.


Ecological pyramids are divided into three parts:

1. Pyramid of Number.

2. Pyramid of Biomass.
