What is Line and Line segment ?
Line Segment:
We join two points together to get a line segment. The line segment (AB AB' role="presentation" style="display: inline; line-height: normal; font-size: 16.94px; word-spacing: normal; overflow-wrap: normal; white-space: nowrap; float: none; direction: ltr; max-width: none; max-height: none; min-width: 0px; min-height: 0px; border: 0px; padding: 0px; margin: 0px; position: relative;">ABAB‾ \overline{AB}' role="presentation" style="display: inline; line-height: normal; font-size: 16.94px; word-spacing: normal; overflow-wrap: normal; white-space: nowrap; float: none; direction: ltr; max-width: none; max-height: none; min-width: 0px; min-height: 0px; border: 0px; padding: 0px; margin: 0px; position: relative;">AB¯¯¯¯¯AB) connects the points A and B.
Line:
If the line segment is extended beyond A in one direction and beyond B in the other direction without any end, then we get a line.
The line is denoted as (AB↔ \stackrel {\leftrightarrow}{AB}' role="presentation" style="display: inline; line-height: normal; font-size: 16.94px; word-spacing: normal; overflow-wrap: normal; white-space: nowrap; float: none; direction: ltr; max-width: none; max-height: none; min-width: 0px; min-height: 0px; border: 0px; padding: 0px; margin: 0px; position: relative;">m↔AB↔).
