What is light? How is light produced?

Light is a type of energy that makes it possible for us to see the world around us. Light is made up of photons, which are like tiny packets of energy.

When an object gets heated to a high temperature, photons are produced from the vibrations of atoms.

Most of the light that we see is generated by the Sun using a chemical reaction called Nuclear fusion.
