What Is Laws Of Exponent
Laws of Exponents
Rule 1: To multiply identical bases, add the exponents.
a^m x a^n = a^(m+n)
Rule 2: To divide identical bases, subtract the exponents.
a^m / a^n = a^(m-n)
Rule 3: When there are two or more exponents and only one base, multiply the exponents.
(a^m )^n = a^(mn)

Negative exponent
a^-m = 1/a^m
