Glucose is a six-carbon molecule. Its molecular formula is C6H12O6


It is the main product, which is a carbohydrate or simple sugar release during the process of photosynthesis.

The reaction of photosynthesis process is commonly written as:

      6CO2     +            6H2O             SunLight       ---->       C6H12O6         +    6O2
Carbon dioxide         Water           Chlorophyll              Carbohydrates      Oxygen
