What is division algorithm ?

Division Algorithm:

We know that,

$Dividend = Divisor \times Quotient + Remainder$

Therefore, if a polynomial f(x) is divided by the polynomial g(x), and the quotient is q(x) and the remainder is r(x) then

$f(x) = g(x)\times q(x) + r(x)$.
