What is smog?

Smog is a type of intense air pollution that reduces visibility. The term "smog" is used to describe the combination of "smoke" and "fog." It was common in industrial areas, but now it is a familiar sight in cities today.  It is yellowish or blackish in color, and sometimes also called ground-level ozone.
