What is capillary tube?


A capillary tube is a tube with small internal diameter. This can hold liquid by capillary action.

 Examples of capillary action in water include water moving up in a straw or a glass tube, water moving through a paper or cloth towel, water moving through a plant, and tears moving through tear ducts etc.
